Last fall I made a nice, fluffy (although, heavy) baby biscuit quilt for a childhood friend's baby shower, forgetting that she lives in the South now and a heavy quilt is not ideal for those temps. She instead bought quilt hangers and hung it up on the nursery wall. That could have been the end of it but I felt bad. She didn't say anything to make me feel that way, by any means, but I feel babies need blankies to cuddle with. That led me to make this new quilt, just after the baby was born. I'm going to ship it out this week and the new mom has no idea.

The full view of the new quilt.

The fluffy ducky I made with extra soft fleece and some extra batting stuffed in the body. There's extra batting stuffed in the cloud, as well, to make it 3D.

This is so sweet, I would probably have to hang it as well. Can't imagine using anything so special.

Really cute!! She'll be so surprised, tho she may want to hang this one too, it has all the pertinent info of the baby. Is this an original design? Love it!!
