Here's my attempt. I used flannel, and really didn't read the directions like I should have...

Your Sweet Sixteen Tote turned out just darling!! :D I am so glad you are sharing your picture with all of us. I haven't made this pattern yet, but I think I will put it on my to-do list. My grand daughters would just love it!!

Your tote is so cute. I guess you like turtles. Me too. I'm going to make one of these for sure. It's just the size I like. Thanks for sharing.
