I love bargellos, but have not tried on yet. I'm contemplating a wall hanging for a friend. I'll have to read in the instructions a few more times before I decide when to start.

A small project is a very good idea, especially to learn a new technique.
You will find that you won't even have the first one done before you have figured out a tweak here, and a tweak there, and before you know it? You will have figured out a larger than life project.

OK.. this moves up on the list for 2011.. Roommate was totally taken with it.. and he's a tough critic.. I"m thinking blues and greens.. we'll see.

Thank you all for your comments. I used danmar's pattern. It has 17 fabrics. It is really a fun and exciting quilt to watch come together. Hoping to make another after Christmas.
Blues and greens will be beautiful.

Hi marvellove! I keep coming back to see your quilt. It is just awesome. Judging by all the views and comments you are getting, I'm not the only one that thinks so either. lol
I want to see pictures of the next one, "after Christmas" too! I'm sure it will be just as awesome if not more so!
