This is a gorgeous quilt! Your granddaughter must have been thrilled to pieces! Arr Arr. I love the fabrics, the pattern and what a great job you did.... And the quilting...WOW! Thank you for letting us know about the tutorial, this is certainly going on my bucket list! I have Pat Speth and Charlene Thode's book Nickel Quilts and love the patterns in that. Definitely going to be exploring Candace's blog there. The tutorial looks great: http://doublenickelquilts.blogspot.c...block.html?m=1

That is Gorgeous!!! I'm taking a class at my LQS on Tues; wish I had seen this before I selected & prepped my fabrics. Also checked the Double Nickel blog. Had no idea a square could be added to the corners to make it completely different - like yours. Thanks for sharing. If your granddaughter doesn't like it, you're welcome to store it at my house!! Have a blessed day.

This is beautiful! And it's going on my list - I've been wondering what I was going to do with my ever growing scraps - I just didn't know it would be something this pretty :-)
