Default At long last a UFO being finished

I have had this DD9P hanging about for over a year, now that I have got all my Charity Christmas quilts done I decided to get it finished. I bought at a fantastic price a HUGE cone of Coats Sylko thread and as it is Deep Purple it is perfect for this quilt.

I decided to do Leah Day's meandering Clover FMQ design as it picks up on of the fabrics in the quilt, it's not perfect but it's for me and I don't criticize and there are no Quilt Police in my house, just my Quilt tester and she's not picky

The back is from a duvet set that I bought just for quilt backs and it looks lovely IMO.

I like it all - the quilt, the backing and the clovers. Very nice work and color choices.

That's really pretty. The blocks look almost like hearts. The back is really nice also and you did a great job on the FMQ!

I never noticed the hearts until you pointed it out, when you look at something close up for so long you don't see the wider picture until it's pointed out to you, thank you
