Default Table Runner--Oklahoma Backroads

Made with Moda Late Bloomers--my very first charm pack. 20" by 40"

I didn't need more fabric, but I was so curious about Late Bloomers when it came out, so I thought I'd order a charm pack. Well--then I struggled through what the heck do I do with 5" squares????? I bought a book of patterns--but only really liked one down with layer cakes--such weird terms. But then I wandered to Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville and found this pattern. It worked great! Very little waste.

And--if you'll please notice (lol) I saved the trimmings and made tiny hsts for a flying geese border at either end. I needed it a bit longer--so that worked out perfectly.

I want to bring out the "blooms" in the center--so besides echoing--I don't have any ideas. Do you?

Next I'll try a D9P--I've never done one of those either.
Well--first I'll finish the Back to Nature and layer/quilt seven waiting projects. Sigh.

OK, what about this little gem isn't fabulous? Nothing! Everything about it is cute, adorable, & darling! I love the pattern, love the fabric, love the teeny geese borders... love everything except for the fact that it lives at your house & not mine... LOL! Thanks for sharing this baby with us!

Aww--you two made me smile. Thanks!
I had to turn the blocks about 27 times to find a place where not too many pieces matched. lol
