Default Just Finished a Cutting Mat/Ruler Tote Caddy Carrier Bag

I just finished a cutting mat/ruler tote caddy carrier bag.
I was originally going to somewhat use a tutorial off of the Moda Bake Shop but decided that I wanted to change it up too much so I just did it on my own (taking pictures and taking notes along the way of course).
It has 2 pockets on each side- one large enough to put my 18x24 cutting mat it in and my 12x12 rotating mat and the other side has two pockets for holding rulers and whatnot.
I had considered adding a zipper and/or velcro to hold the pockets shut but in the end decided not to. I can add velcro later if I really really think it's necessary but I don't see me needing to add it. This is pretty much just for me to go from the craft room to the car to the wheelie cart to haul all my loot in to the room my guild has sewing events.

I used decorator and printed canvas/duck fabrics to make it durable. It does make it heavier than if I had used cottons but I really wanted to make it super durable.

I quilted the lining fabric to cushion everything better.
Not bad for my first attempt at a decent bag to carry loot in. I'm super happy with it.

Oh - the focus fabric is one that came from Hancock's just in case anyone is interested in it. I really like that material a lot. I've used it for a few things. It's my colors. It makes me happy
