FINALLY, I finished DD's quilt for her dorm room. It seems like it lay on the table waiting for me to finish the binding for the longest time. She was all smiles last night when she saw it done. I have to admit, I was apprehensive about putting such bright colors together, but it worked out great. The pirate and ECU in the middle is cut out of a flag and satin stitched onto a black square. Graduation from HS is fast approaching and I'm glad I could get this finished for her to take with her in August.

    Oh, I love your quilt.

My niece and nephew graduated from ECU and have 3 boys 3-11 that have everthing ECU and go to all the games. I was wondering how I could make the Walker the oldest a ECU quilt. I didn't want it to be all ECU pirate fabric except for the back. Sometimes it just takes seeing to get the old brain working. Thanks, I am bookmarking this for future reference.

I can see why she's so happy! She has a one-of-a-kind quilt! And the best part is it's made by her own loving mom, and it will fit in perfectly with her new school. Well done!

Well, DD will be there in the Fall in the marching band. She's been accepted into the School and Music and is very excited about starting there.

Your DD's quilt will be the hit of her dorm floor! So glad she has been accepted to the college she wants to attend.

I love your colors. What school is this? Remember I'm from Texas. That gives me an ideal. What is that pattern? Kinda looks like triple Irish chain.
