I love them!! The material with the wash hanging is really cute! I like seeing the same pattern, different fabric, and what a change it makes! What pattern is that?
:D

It was posted here- in the links and resources.

I know it by heart now.

3 squares 9 1/2''
4 squares 5"
1 square 8", cut into 4 on the diagonal.

lay them out like above.
sew. The one that has the "extra" strip on the ends made them too long to put on a 42" wide piece of fabric so I made the rest without that strip. I think they look better anyway.

I put a piece of lightweight batting in between and then closed them "envelope" style, topsticthed around the edge and stitched in the ditch between the large squares. On the one on the table, you can see the indentations of where the stitch line would be.

How's that? Clear as mud?

The one that looks like laundry is actually bathing suits- bikinis and suits and boxers. The other blocks are Hawaiian shirts on the 5 in. blocks and tropical prints on the setting triangles.

Thank you Barb!! Closing 'envelope style', is that sewing them inside out then turning them right side, through a small opening?
Thanks again! :D

BarbM:
Wow what a variety and each one is more beautiful then the next. I would say that the yournger girls had their age and lack of experience to blame for not thanking you but then my DIL is only 30 and she loves everything I have made for her and displays each thing in her home.
I don't know what to say except what I said in the baby quilt thread. You made them because you like to quilt and gave each one with love. That should be enough. If some people don't seem to appreciate it that really is their problem. I do know that it hurts thoiugh.
Be proud they are beautiful Barb
