Default New product review

I'm always looking for shortcuts to make half Square triangles. Especially when you have to mark both sides of center. I purchased this Sew Steady Grid Glider, and it is a game changer. You put it on your sewing table, place the hole under the needle. You can alter the size of the hole. It works very much like the Angler 2. No more tedious marking of triangles. And the surface is slick, so fabric just glides right thru!!!!

Looks neat! Is it slippery enough to replace the supreme slider for FMQing?

In my limited experience, I find Sew Steady to make great products, and also great customer service. I keep a cutting mat on my Sew Steady right by the machine, but have to move it over pretty often because it kind of has a grippy surface, and if I'm sewing a larger piece, it grabs rather than glides. This product looks like it would combine the best parts of slider and graph. I'd just have to remember not to cut on it!

Any idea of the size of the largest square that you can sew on the diagonal with this?

Nice product for sure. I usually put a piece of painter's tape and use that edge to sew from corner to corner because I can never find my Angler when I need it.
