Won't be long and everyone can take a break from the rush of sewing. I am feeling the pressure as I am finishing up the last quilt for my sister. When I get back from my break (from quilting projects for others) I hope to quilt this one for myself!! Should be fun!

Wonderful quilt and the fabrics are awesome. RED,WHITE & BLUE! Really a great looking quilt. Was this paper pieced?

It reminds me of 'Itsy-Bitsy-Spider' in design. Very cute.

No it is not paper pieced. It is made with templates, which I found to be very frustrating. I had to ask for help from the quilters on the board and it helped a bunch!! The colors are red, tan, and black (guess my photo needs help!LOL)

It is called "Big Dipper" by Lynda Hall listed in her patterns. http://www.primitivepiecesbylynda.com/intro.html

I love her patterns! It was hard since I've only been quilting for 3yrs., but If I could do, it anyone can!!
