    Default Barnyard Dance baby quilt

It's Done!!! The baby was born Oct 23rd, but I won't get to meet him until Thanksgiving week...but his quilt is finally done and I can't wait to give it to my niece and her new baby!

The silly dancing animals are inspired by Sandra Boynton's children's book 'Barnyard Dance', which was one of my DS's favorites. I quilted baby Brody's name into the tractor - but it's hidden for a game of 'Where's Brody'. (I did that same thing on his brother's quilt - hid his name in the leaves of a tree.)

I had so much fun on this quilt!! And y'all helped me w/ the words on the top/bottom/sides...I decided to stitch them, then I quilted over them w/ invisible (polyester) thread.
    Enjoy! Donna Mc

Great job...from the applique to the quilting! Our kids loved Boynton books too.

What an adorable quilt! It's sure to be his security blanket. Great job.
