Think it's fine either way, it's your creation and you have to be happy with it. Maybe if you set it aside for a bit and rebook at it? Then if still needs more go for it!!

Your quilt is great! You did a great job on the overlap colors. I like the modern look.

I think it looks very good. If you think it needs more quilting, then that is what you should do. You must be happy with it.

It is a pretty modern quilt. Love your colors and if you are not happy with the quilting go for it. Your quilt-so make it so you are happy with it.

A fantastic and unique quilt. I love the way you gave it a transparent look. Great job

ooh! I like the design and the way you used the color to look transparent. I'm like Dunster, I like lots of quilting on modern quilts and would have probably "quilted it to death"!

Great design. It is very mid-century modern. Please post again after you add more quilting.

This is your quilt and it should make you happy. I personally agree it needs more quilting, however that's me. Perhaps put is aside out of site for a bit and then revisit and decide

I like the modern look of the layout, but I think I agree with you that a little more quilting would enhance it. If it were mine, I'd probably take cues from the print of each colored block and try to mimic that. For example, in the lefthand red block I would do a sort of "chicken wire" pattern. In the blue, little daisies. In the righthand red block, I'd do big x's. Or I might just fill in each space that seems too open with a wide serpentine stitch.
