Ok, I'm combining two events. Terri stopped by and had dinner with us Sunday as they made their way to KS and onward to VA. I also planted 5 tomato plants in my new Topsy Turvy Planter.

Keep them watered. NO ONE ever gets a tomato from them! They need to be watered at LEAST 2X a day, even in the rain.

Pam, That's not true. I had some the two last years and had so many tomatoes that I didn't know what to do with them all. I made my own and you're right about having to water them alot.

    Wow, that is awesome!!!

I didn't know there was one that could hold more than one plant.

I got one, but it only holds one plant. I can't wait to see how they turn out

Again, keep them watered!!! Water is the key to ALL tomatos. The bags are small, with all of those roots, water, water, water!!

Love your tomato plants! I have one of those, I put the potting soil that has little clear things in it that retain water. We live in the desert so I water it every day, so far there is only one baby tomato on the plant. I hope the plant lives.

    There we are!
I could have looked a bit better, but with traveling, I didn't think I was in a fashion show. lol

It's me on the left, Leota, Dix on the right.

It was a great time had by all!

Those are going to be some great tomatoes!

It is nice to put a face to your names. Good to meet you ladies.

I sure hope the tomato thingys work because I planted tomatoes in 3 of them over the weekend. Mine only holds 1 plant per holder.

Well? I'm sure for those of us going to the Houston Show, we can plan a dinner or something. Turn that into a party! :)

Seems like you have been having a lovely time. Feed those tomatoes and you should get heaps - good idea keeping them off the ground, keep us posted.
