You can't see the whole thing in either direction because I can't get back far enough. I'm done for tonight, as I will have to take out 2 miters. I thought I was done when I mitered the green and gold, but we decided it needed the rust border as well.

This was originally intended to be a charity quilt, but DH claimed it. He's a womderful man who does not ask a great deal of me. We've now been married 31 years (Monday), so its a little thing to do for him.

It is ever so much easier than it looks. Just plunk a piece down on the edge or center of a foundation sheet (I am currently using worn out, well washed sheets), add other things log cabin style until the foundation is covered. Press, trim and use. I have centered some on animal prints, others on orphan blocks or unfinished blocks. The one I am just finishing is a spinning star, with some eyeball fabric that has been sitting around for the right quilt. The rest is straight scrap.
