While we were at the Fabric by the pound place (they actually sell the quilt fabric by the yard) my DH pointed these out to me several times while I was still looking for bugs...
so after I found all the bug stuff I went over to look at these!!!!! Does this man know me well or what??? and what a GREAT enabler he is...

I went ahead and got all the ones I wanted because every single time we go in there looking for something I had seen before - it's GONE  so we've pretty much figured if you see it, and you know you're going to want it - go ahead and get it!

Most of these are the Cambridge Collection (1840-1870) by Judie Rothermel
with a few by Faye Burgos - all Marcus Brothers.... so my Civil War collection is pretty much finished and ready for my 'grandpa' quilt plus a ton of others because I got TWO yards of each one of those!! Because I was thinking they will make FANTASTIC disappearing 9 patch etc...

they are really beautiful - i'm going to check out my fabric warehouse which receives bolts of LQS fabric and there is always lots of great, high quality stuff there!
