Looks very creative from my view.
Nicely done. I also like the look of
the light blue trim you have added.
Gives it more definition. A break without
distracting from your pattern.
Mistakes are artitic license. They are meant to be.
Love your quilt.

What do I do? Fake it. The need to create an answer for a problem is one of the reasons that quilting fascinates me.

Your quilt is all the usual things a quilt is: beautiful, warm, personal, useful, ... ; you know the rest. But, it is much more. Because of your "fix," the quilt has dynamics beyond the usual and is all yours. Never again to be created. To look at it is to see all the afore mentioned things and to get to know you. A magnificent fix and thank you!
