Default Thinking of Doing Another Boxed Squares

I was playing in my EQ5 with all batiks. I think I like it. What does this do for you?

Looks great! I wonder what it would look like if you created a positive/negative pattern with light and dark batiks? You could do a large Greek key design. Wouldn't a subtle big E look cool in an eye doctors office? Sorry, as you can see your design has intrigued me.

I love this. It's on my bucket list to do one in christmas fabrics, now I'm wondering if i should look at my batik stash!

I did a variation of this with batiks. LOVE IT. It's sandwiched and waiting to quilt. King size, for OUR bed. But the piecing is slightly different-- done more like a log cabin-- just one row around the center.

I made a batik quilt like this a few months back - http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...e-t208917.html would love to see what you come up with!
one thing i would recommend - turning every other block so that your seams don't match!

I love this and I'm assuming this is a 9" block. Thanks for the inspiration.

i love the look of it. just a hint, if you didn't know... if you right click on the quilt, you can uncheck outline patches and blocks... it gives a little better picture of the quilt.
