That was Iron on one side and cut on the other side that I purchased at Walmart. I covered it with a heat resitant fabric. It's perfect size.

From Sew Vac Direct, ask for Steve, And ask him to help with the price. He helped me alot, and he is a wonderful guy to deal with. I don't have a dealer close enough for me, so this worked well. I got the Janome 1600p (not the DB/DBX I heard they have round shank needle that can cause threading issues.) I also got the Gracie Sturdy Lite and then Upgraded to the new carriage which I know they sell too. I hope when I move to find a dealer for the support and maint.

great room you have there! Looks like you're in heaven. I am in the process of redoing my sewing room too. I hope to post pix when I am finished. I love how you use different furniture. So do I!!! I love your hutch. I am a hutch addict. I use an entertainment center for my fabrics too. Bolts on end sit perfectly in a T.V. opening...did you all know that? Winewoman is working on her's too. Her's will be beutiful and all white.

Thanks for posting your "fun space" to quilt!!!! AEWSOME    :-D

Thank you AmyS. That's what I'm using now and want to make my ironing space bigger by my machine. I'm afraid the steam from the iron is going to ruin my cabinet.

my husband got a piece of plywood, stapled batting, and a piece of musulyn to it. you can use bolts to hold to reaguler Iron board. the plywood can be 1/2 inch thick 45 to 60 long and 24 to 36 wide. this was on make it yourself quilt ironing board, I don't have a sewing room so I did not screw mine on, but it would be more stable to bolt on, mine works great. Love your sewing room. Looks like a very good set-up to me. Now it is a much more useful space. Good for you !!!

Love the quilt also, love the colors, I have used colors like that alot. I'm getting low on yardage of them.
