I would leave the size it is. Babies grow into toddlers who drag their favorite blanket around. My daughter kept one my mother made for her into adulthood until her daughters wore it out.

I made my GC quilts bigger so they can use them longer, and my daughter loved it. It's ok very cute.

I got the pattern off of Robert Kaufman's site, under free patterns...Its called Patchwork Bouquet.

I need to make 3 by the end of July - that looks like a perfect pattern.

Don't shorten the quilt - better too long than too short.

I make a lot of baby quilts as gifts and for more fabric money.I find I need to ask the people who pay for the quilt if they want a new born,or a crib size.If its a baby shower gift I always make a 36x36 that way they can tuck it in around the baby in a car seat or to lay on the floor.

Its really cute, and will be a nice crib size like it is. Then maybe a cuddle quilt on Mom's lap

huntannette, I love your painted rocks, I've done some that look pretty much just like them. Aren't they fun to do? When I need a break from quilting, I'll paint some more!! Hugs and smiles, Linda aka wildyard

Just leave it, the baby won't be a baby for long. It will get used through the years.
