I have one of these, but it is approx. 36 inches tall and is on a swivel base. I bought it in Springfield, Mo. at a sewing shop on St. Louis St. I have had mine for probably 20 years and really like it. Your husband is a crafty fellow

my husband is amazing, I will say I need something and he will go in his garage and close the door, come out with a finished project.. but now at times, he over thinks things too much, I love to make rugs on a frame loom.. the one I had was 2x3 ft..I told him I would like one half that size, after a couple of weeks he drags this huge loom in the house.. it would do a rug 3x5 and had bunches of adjustments to do table runners, place mats, potholders..way too big for the house..sold it and finally got my 1.5 x 2ft size.
