Default Thread holders

I made thread holders like this one for our recent Guild Quilt Show. They were fun and easy to make.

That is really cute! What a great idea! For Girl Scouts one time I had a similar idea for "Recipe" holders, but I love the thread and scissors holder. You could add a little pin cushion or little magnet to use for needles and pins.

really cute I have been thinking about somenew for on the hand quilting table. I think that I can find every thing around here. maybe I will try one. I'm with "quiltingcandy" will have to add a little pin cushion but I have that coverd to have been makeing pin cushion out of the little cups that drink mix come in. O my! my mind is running away with ideas. Thank for the post "yadro"

i also made this version for hand sewing. The scissors are on a magnet.

Love them both. I made a similar one for my sewing machine by using a wooden banana stand to start with. I am able to do hand sewing during my breaks from work and always have stuff scattered (in the way) on my desk. I am going to try to make one like this one for hand sewing. Very clever idea and so pretty and handy! Thanks for sharing.
