    Stunning! I love your thread work. Don't take this the wrong way ... but it almost seems a shame to make it into a ribbon quilt ... he deserves to be framed as he sits.

    I think you're right... I'm thinking about asking her if she'd like me to frame him and just do the quilt with ribbons instead.

    That is amazing! And inspirational, and it gives me ambitions and ideas...I keep revisiting your pictures because each time I do I see new details and clever shading. Thank you for sharing this.

    And I also think it would belovely to have this as a separate work, apart from the ribbon quilt.
