Thanks for looking at it and trying to figure out what to do with it though. That was very sweet of you.

Here is her site to check out some of her quilts ... She lives very near my son and daughter in law.

This one is in the "storybrook farms" multi-block quit.

okey, dokey ... so, now we know that Omak does not read all the words, just looks at pictures! and, even if she reads the words after looking at the pictures, she may or may not remember what was written long enough to go back and peruse the whole thing. but, aside from that little flaw in her observation skills, Omak thinks that Red still provided her own solution ... or <g> you could do a bunkhouse braid, using all the colors in the quilt, though you really did want a simple border ... hmmm... just trying to help you here ... how about taking all of the color scraps longer than eight inches and creating a single brick border around the whole thing? Or! You could do prairie points <g> .... LOL ... I love it when a plan comes together! <wave>
OH! And, I looked at that website ... I just want to say: I am glad it is her and you and not me! I am so happy that God created those exuberant souls who just must go beyond a four patch and really celebrate God's green earth. HOO RAH! Continue on ... <g>

ButI can't see a bird and it's driving me crazy, where is the bird?
 It's in front of the sunflower off to itself in the border.

 Omak ... I hope you didn't take offence to how I said that. I was laughing when I wrote it. I know I sometimes am misunderstood. Please forgive me if it did. I was just in such a good mood from all the sweet comments.

I HEARD you laughing! I am so used to me, that I knew what was so funny ... LOL ... I thought we were having a very good time. I almost didn't respond because this thread is about your beautiful WIP that were being completed ... however, you seemed to be having so much fun with my "dyslexic" half reading <g> ... I just could not resist adding to the fun.
nope ... no offense to be concerned about <g> ... we were having a good time getting to know each other ... and, I appreciate the patience of those observers who have to get through a little teasing ... to find out really constructive insights. We just have to trust that everyone really is trying to have a good time while learning and sharing and getting inspired ... my trust has never been shaken ... never <g> Life needs more clowns LOL!

They are all beautiful. I especially like the middle one. It looks like so much work but worth it I am sure.
