Here in Ireland, all the Christmas decorations stay put until Little Christmas (Nollaig na mBan-women's Christmas) on January 6th. That's the "official" end of Christmas. It's the Feast of the Epiphany. It's way too early to put away a gorgeous quilt like that.

How pretty. I am glad you thought to take a picture and show us before putting it away until next year. You can post it again then as we will probably all forgotten about it, not to mention all the newbies we will have who didn't see it this time.

That's beautiful! I always leave mine on until after Jan. 1st. All the Christmas things get put away the first or second week of January.

This is so stunning. I just love the vibrant rich colours. Beautiful blocks and applique. I would rather keep it out for longer to enjoy it more then put it away

I celebrate Christmas until then. The Feast of the Epiphany is the Feast of the Wise Men which is a very important day. I would keep this beautiful quilt out until this date. Happy New Year!
