Default time to Trim the Tree!

One of my sewing buddies bought this pattern for everyone in our group, and we've been having fun seeing how everyone's comes out. Rather than put buttons on it and hang paper-pieced ornaments, as was suggested by the pattern, I chose to add some red yarn balls with couching, and also a star on top. I added a piece of gold trim in the binding ditch.

This is "Tall Trim the Tree" pattern.

Getting in the holiday mood yet?

What a kind sewing buddy you have to treat all to the pattern. Your tree is fabulous and very oringinal. I like your embellishment ideas with the yarn. Your quilting designs make the tree so festive.

I like your beautiful tree and the embellishments you chose for your tree. I especially like the star. I am glad your group enjoyed the challenge. Such seasonal fun.
