Working on a very colorful quilt with butterflies appliqued onto lavender, blue, and mauve background squares. I need ideas for a really sensational border. No you can't peek until I'm done! I've heard of a border described as a "twisted ribbon" but not sure what that is. Any ideas?

I used the one EasyPeezy suggested years ago on a Christmas round robin. It was easy and really pretty!

Perhaps a piano key border in all the pastels of the quilt?

The twisted ribbon was my first thought. I love the look.

I've done the ribbon on a couple of quilts and it looks wonderful. I think you would like it on the quilt you are doing.
