Default Tired dog (for a while), Busy Parrot and French Braid Quilt

Happy New Year to all!

Up early this morning to take the dog out for a 4-hour hike so I could have the afternoon to myself!

The dog crashed and Echo was busy with a piece of wood

I managed to get two full french braids done in 3.5 hours (yes, I finally got down to using those gorgeous batiks)

Alas, I only got a 3.5 hour break before the dog woke up, I heard a bark, some movement,

Off for a training break so I can tire her out again and then get back to sewing more french braids!

I love those French braids. I am working on a ks quilt for my DDIL, and have been putting off starting all day. But, maybe when I do get started, I can do as well as you have. They're beautiful.

Marionsquilts, from Rhondas WHSwap! What cool runners. I love the fabrics in this classic pattern. What fun.
