Tisket, tasket, made a little basket

Okay, so I made four. Quite addicting, but fingers and wrists got very sore wrapping the rope. Muffins likes them!

Beautiful baskets! I made some too and they are so much fun. I also did a couple of oblong 2 inch high ones for my husband and son to throw their wallets and keys into. It sure saves the table surface and keeps their debris in one spot.

Yes the baskets are beautiful. Were they hard? Did you have a pattern or just wing it? BrendaK

I have great wings LOL. I did not have a pattern, just read the tutorial posted here in the tutorials section and watched a video. They are super easy, but very time consuming using one-inch strips and wrapping around the rope. The sewing part is done pronto. Do try this, it's fun and the results are neat. I am currently working on a way to make these without the wrapping since my pincers tend to give out on me after the first one. The littlest basket with the lavender in it is made from one fat quarter and I didn't measure how much rope, maybe 25 feet?

That sweet cat sure has adoring eyes for you. How sweet.

I love your baskets too.Your colors are neat.

I need to get busy and make some, I have had the book for years. These would have made great gifts for christmas. Dang... too late now.
