2 quilted items! They are done and ready to go!

The first one is a table runner I made from my head. It is about 15" x 48" and I made the bias strips and binding myself. Will make a few more this weekend.

The second one was to be packing material for a box of books to my DGD in Ohio. Turned out to be a doll quilt made from a leftover block from the "I Spy" quilt I made this week and a scrap. Done in less than and hour! Enjoy and thanks for looking

The colors look really washed out here.

This is truer colors -- all green batiks

I thought this would be the back, but ended up quilting the motiffs and it is the front!

This is the back with the D9P I Spy blocks.

The runner was so easy...curved blocks on straight blocks! Place on back and batting. Then sew down the bias tape, bind and you're done, after binding the entire table runner!

This table runner is quite impressive. It would lend itself to all color themes. Would 2 1/2 inch strips be wide enough to use, as long as they are long enough? Great job.

Probably, but I was using 3" for the curved and 2.5 for the straight blocks. But you are right, the length is the important part.
Tomorrow I am going to make a blue one...

Those batiks are so yummy! I love your runners. The little quilt is darling too.
