I quilted it on my reqular Bernina machine. I spray baste the sandwich. Then I roll the quilt as tight as I can & pin the roll with diaper pins to hold it. This makes it manageable. The center is the hardest to do so that is quilted in large meandering. I did smaller meandering around the edges where the bulk was easier to manage. I did vertical lives 3 inches apart around the bottom. I'm new at quilting so that's all I can do. These pictures look like the backing is white, but it's actually black!

I also like your line at the bottom of your post....'Don't believe everything you think!'

It made me laugh. Can I use it with my adult children? (Sometimes they get on my nerves.)

Sure you can use it...I wish my mom had used it on me!

It's a king size, but I add to it so the sheets don't stick out & it doesn't need a dust ruffle. I also do a pillow cover so it doesn't need shams.

Yes, I down loaded the designs from one of the online embroidery sites. I can't remember the site. I went to each site & searched dragon. The words are from the Chinese zodiac and were seperate designs. Wish I could remember more.

I hope you have an appreciative son because this quilt obviously took a lot of time (and fabric). It's gorgeous. I need to try and send this picture to my BFF who is crazy about oriental fabrics.
