Default Towel aprons

When I was helping a friend sort through his late grandmother's things, we ran across an apron made in the 30s. The fraying end of a towel was cut off and the rest was used for the apron The quilted bib was from a print fabric. What a clever woman!! He gave me the apron and I copied it to make my own. So simple to make and I love having the towel so handy when I'm baking.
Thanks for looking.

That is a nice apron -- really like your rendition of it. Never thought to use a towel for the bottom, that is a great idea.

What a great idea! One towel could make two aprons.

Clever idea....I may incorporate the towel idea into an apron for my husband....he's a keen cook..though a tad on the messy side.
