Thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments. I am very excited to see how well it came out, I was a little worried there for a while. The quilt is both pieced and appliqued (with a satin stitch around the pieces).

And no Andrew hasn't seen the quilt yet. He was born on January 16th, so he is less than a month old, so I don't think he'll have much of an opinion, but I like to make all the new babies quilts when they are born.

Well, isn't that as cute as can be!
I like to make all the new babies quilts too. It's getting to be quite a few- my husband has 6 brothers & sisters and their children (& ours) are having children now.

The pattern was in the November 2007 issue of Quick Quilts, I don't have an electronic version of the pattern. You can order the magazine at quickquilts.com if you want it.
