Grandma's are the greatest people in the world (you can see mine right there in my icon)!

I think the quilt is beautiful, and the more I look at those blocks the more design possibilities I see.

But isn't that what quilting is all about?!?! Spreading their love through quilting; I think it is wonderful because it was made by your grannie. Who knows what future generations will think of our handiwork :roll: Hopefully they will appreciate our quilts as they were meant to be; filled with love. It doesn't really matter whether colors match, coordinate, seams match; the love is there.

granof6 I totally agree, I dont always look at colors when I quilt. Sometimes I just sit the scrap box next to me and what ever I pull out I have to use. Its a little game I play, on a mission to make the ugliest quilt I think. Now if I could just get past having to have a pattern I might make it big in the art world! LOL

I think your quilt is perfect..your grannie sewed every piece with love. Can't make a quilt any nicer than that!!
