    Someone had made one of these and posted it earlier. It's designed by Betty Laughlin. I'm not fond of applicae but I couldn't resist doing this, I purposely used a wide overlapping satin stitch on the trees so I would have a nice tree "impression" on the back.

    It was a lot of work, I really like it, and I'm keeping it!!

    Looks great. I may try this pattern. Polka for trees is an interesting idea. Thanks for sharing.
    What is the finished size? And for trees?

    The runner is 46 x 16. The trees are around 6 x 7. Connie on the board free-handed a tree pattern for me. If you'd like it, PM me with your address and I'll mail it to you.
