Cute! I agree, leave off the borders. The turtle looks kind of funny with the wall going between his shell. It's a great idea and I'm sure it will be great for the restaurant.

this just made me smile! I love the face on the turtle :thumbup: You can't help but smile. I think the whole quilt is wonderful. Very unique!

You could sew window sashing over the frame areas to make the sections seem as seen through a window and that would connect the sections also. You could use the wood that matches the border for a rustic look.
