    Default Wedding quilt label

I am currently in the process of making three wedding quilts this year. I have been auditioning labels for the backing. I found some machine embroidery designs at Urban Threads that appealed to me. They are Day of the Dead brides and grooms! This is my first prototype, it has not been quilted yet, which will improve the look a lot. I think the next one should have more contrast. There is room to write in indelible ink where I will add a verse and sign and date it. Here goes

I would have to know the bride and groom VERY well to put that on a quilt. It wouldn't be my first choice, but if the couple is into it - go for it!

Those are so funny! I think the thread colours are perfect, just the right amount of definition.
