Default Trip Around the World 13 Yrs Old

Being house bound, I mean snow bound, I'm getting to my quilting projects from years gone by. This one I started 13 yrs ago and it came off the Crown Jewel 2 last night. I'm very pleased with it even though it took a long time to complete. It is all stitched with rulers, very time consuming. I'm new to this part of quilting, so I'm happy so far. I still have to add the binding which is a stripe. That will be tomorrow with the next storm. Oh and this is what my property looks like with all this white stuff. And my walk looks like an igloo. 2 more storms predicted for this week and another for next week.

Oh I feel your pain with the snow being from Massachusetts, my house looks the same. Good thing you have this beautiful quilt to keep warm. Good job on the quilting.

Lovely quilting! I don't envy your snow - thanks for the reminder photos of what the storms really leave behind...

Beautiful quilt! And you can blame my extended family for the snow if you want, they just moved there this year from Chicago. Where I am (halfway between Philly and NYC), we are getting hit the beginnings of the storms that pound you guys up there. Our biggest storm was 6 inches a few weeks ago. At least you have something to do while waiting out the storms!

Lovely quilt. Trip around the world was the second or third quilt I ever made and the pattern remains a favorite. I feel your pain about the snow. We in southern Rhode Island have also been dumped on, but we did not lose power. So, we can sit and sew to our heart's content.

Oh my gosh!! First your quilt is beautiful! Second is I feel your pain about being housebound! That makes me claustrophobic just looking at it!! It was sunny and 70 here in Arkansas yesterday and today!

I like the quilt but I have to say the other pictures make me thankful not to live in snow country anymore.

I live south of Denver, CO so I can relate to the snow although we haven't received much this year so far. You are making great use of your time. Your quilt is beautiful.

Beautiful job on that quilt! Your winter is more the norm for our part of the country. But, we have very little snow on the ground. We've been given a good winter thaw every time we've had a good snowfall this winter. Right now we're going thru very strong winds and rapidly dropping temps. Keep up the good job quilting. I'm keeping as comfy as possible with a nasty cold crud (making good use of quilts I've made).

Holy cow look at that snow! I would be so out of the NE if I had to live one winter thru that!
Your quilt, on the other hand, is so sweet and comfy looking. How good it must feel to have that done.
