For those of you have asked me - I got this fabric from www.backdoorquiltshoppe.com. It is one of the first truck fabrics I found that looks more mature and the colours seemed to go well with the Logos I had. THanks for all the feed back.

This is a truly awesome quilt. I love what you did with the fabric and the logos. I am sure your dad will be thrilled with it.

Thanks for that story. I think you are right - the sentiment will go down well. It was hard to break away from my more scrappy like quilts but I am now pleased I did it with the receiver in mind and not just what I like.

Such a shame for you. Like you that is what I originally had in mind. Chop it up, frame each truck with patches from clothing etc etc but I was lucky enough to have some boys in my house who loved the farbic as it was so that made me rethink. This board is also such a great place for inspiration.

Special for that extra special dad in your life. I find it so interesting and shall I say manly?? I know he will enjoy the warm feelings and the love you put into it, making it just for him.
