I really like it too, the thing with dark purples, I used them and now don't like them anymore either...I will only use a small amount of dark purple again, never alot.

If she likes purple, she will likely love the quilt. I think it is beautiful. Maybe it just doesn't speak to you personally, but I'm willing to bet there are legions that would love it.

I see lots of things that are very pretty but not my style. This appears to be done very well and is really pretty, probably just not your style. More than likely, she will love it!!
