Maybe add a couple of borders, then if you still don't care for it then donate it. Lots of worthy causes out there, and a little boy would love your "critters". :)

I agree. More scrappy blocks and animal fabric on the back if possible. It will turn out just fine.

It looks like a good start to something! I can see a lot of possibilities! I think it could be turned into a cool wallhanging! :D

You may not like it, but trust me, someone else is going to think it's better than chocolate! It looks good to me, I think the colors blend well, it's just unfinished, that's all. I think some nice batik borders would be just the ticket!

I like it - nice job on the machine applique! Most of my quilts are 'practice' quilts to learn something new with. They are given as gifts, imperfections and all.

I see a wall hanging or small lap quilt. Just needs a little more added to it to really make it pop. Think about it for a while.

Just press square up and add borders should be fine.

Okay, I'm in the minority. This is an ugly quilt top. I've bought into Bonnie's philosophy (www.quiltville.com) -- no fabric is too ugly that it can't be cut into small pieces and used in a quilt. So, if I had this quilt top, I'd cut those appliques into small squares or strips, and use 'em in a patchwork quilt.
