how fun, wish my sisters quilted, one dabbles in making Barbie doll clothes, which I think would be harder than making quilts, such tiny pieces, not for me

Wish my sister quilted, you are making memories, I am so jealous. Can you share the "tube quilting" pattern? I just sewed together one, but am afraid to start cutting.

This technique and the twister have been my passions this year. For me, it has been a great way to use fugly materials and scraps. I've been informed that there is no such thing as an ugly batik, but I have two of them and they are fugly. But when cut and paired with other fabric, it sure softens their contrast. Lucky you to have family to work with. That is what truly is the blessing.

How special!!! As if five quilting sisters was not enough, you had a brother who was kind enough to come along and cook for you. Now that is family!!

Oh, yes, wonderful quilts, too.
