Here is a baby quilt which has finally been finished and sent off to my second cousin's little one. He's only ten months old, so I think my timing is relatively good there! The pattern is a crazy log cabin, 11" blocks with 2" sashing, and the finished size is 50". It's mostly made from a Fabric Freedom batik jelly roll, which was very pretty but a right nuisance to work with due to being badly cut. I'm very proud of the quilting, which is my first attempt at Welsh quilting. I've attached a photo of the quilting pattern, although the border turned out a bit different, it ended up being a zigzag with coin motifs. Everything has been hand-sewn as usual.

Thank you everyone! I'm amused to see from people's avatars that I seem to be drawing all the blue-lovers here. Those really are gorgeous quilts.

Love the colors and the hand quilting. Is it something you came up with in the stiching? One lucky fella.
