OMG I love it. I've got to have that pattern. Where and when did you get it?I have paper pieced a turtle quilt, my first and I'm doing a cabin quilt now. I like the paper piecing but each time it took me several blocks before I didn't have to rip out something. I think I must be dyslexic or something. You can pm the info if you have the time. Thanks

Love your Twisted Log Cabin! I downloaded the info. from the 2 sites you supplied. Thank you. I may never make that quilt because I have trouble paper piecing. I have no sense of direction. (In an unfamiliar place I always have to stop awhile and get my bearings before I take a step.) This handicap seems to spill over into assembling items that I've purchased and also into paper piecing. The first and only time I tried paper piecing was torture. I never give up on anything so managed to complete several small blocks which I incorporated into a bed quilt. Why am I telling you this, you ask? Because I am VERY impressed with your excellent Twisted Log Cabin; thank you for sharing.

But I am very pleased. Perhaps I will enter it into the annual Fair contest in September or October.
    congrats!!!

I have loved this pattern ever since I first saw Simply Quilts. When the patterned was demo-ed on the show, I knew I'd never have the patience to make it! And I love to foundation piece! I think yours is BETTER than the one on SQ, and you definitely deserved to win. Keep entering - you'll probably keep winning!

    Thanks everyone.

I don't know that I won anything. In fact, I wasn't even told I won. My sister received an e-mail from the Guild with the winners listed and she had to forward it to me.

The link to the pattern is on the top of Page 2 of this post. I hope someone else tries it, you might find it's not that hard.

I absolutely love you quilt... was it a pattern from a book? I would love to see or be able to get the pattern. Who was the designer? If you don't mind sharing. Thanks Quilter 1234
