ooo la la! Love hankie pankies!!
Finished 1 Christmas and 1 Christmas UFO. Been trying to collect St Patrick's day hankies to honor the Irish Saint!
If you love using hankie's look at Penny Sempert's patterns. She'll be at Shipshewana, Indiana Quilt festival in June!!!

How nice. I have my grandmothers dresser and homemade hutch that her oldest made for her 35 wedding anniversary they both are gone now but they mean so much to me I would never part with them.Your quilt is very pretty. My grandmther used to make quilt and hand quilt them on hanging frames above the large kitchen table, and them us kids then would play under the frames. So many good memories. thanks for sharing.

You have inspired me to make a quilt using my Mom's hankies and adding some of her hand crocheted doilies. Thanks!

Those are so lovely...I think I could cut up hankies if my project would come out similar to yours. Thanks for the inspiration! I am sure there many out there that will bookmark your pictures. YOu did such nice work.

I am thinking that I could do something similar with all the hand emboridered doillies and such that my aunt left to me. Would have to be careful if I cut through the stitches, would have to stablize them so they didnt unravel. Hmmmmm....now you have me thinking.
