    You do such a lovely job on these. My husband wonders why I inspect the fish so closely when we go to the Marina Market ;-)

    The green with white fish is to die for. It reminds me of fossil pieces where the sandstone forms around the entire fossilized fish. These are great.

    Kathryn....You show us some of the most amazing fabrics in your work !!!! Really....that looks like they put dye on real fish and laid them on the fabric !!! WOW !!!

    This is exactly how I do it!!!!!!! It is an ancient Japanese practice. They would do this in order to document different species. My brothers are fishermen so they give them to me to print. Afterwards I bury them in the garden with prayers.
