Default All Boxed In Baby Quilt

McCall’s Quilting posted a free pattern online recently, called “Peas in a Pod”. I was drawn to it and designed this quilt around the block in it. I downsized the blocks to be made from 2 1/2 inch strips and squares, added sashing, and an entirely different border. It makes a wonderful baby quilt! I will be making a second one of these as they will be going to twin baby girls for a co-worker of hubby's. The panto I used to quilt it with is called SW Suns by Sweet Dream Studios.

Your quilt is gorgeous. I love the quilting. I would love to be able to fmq but something in the brain just can't conquer moving the "paper, not the pencil" if you know what I mean.
I'd love to know how you made that wonderful label. I make quilts for the children's hospital. And made an attempt at printing fabric labels. But they pale in comparison. it looks like embroidery. I have an embroidery machine. so could do that. Where did you get the design from?

Thanks ladies. SVAL, yes it's a machine embroidered label. I simply created the lettering in my software, and modified an elaborate swirl I had down to just the basic swirl you see here, and mirrored it on both sides.

That is a beautiful quilt, and--as always--your quilting is wonderful. I love colorful quilts for babies, and that pattern looks fairly easy. TFS
