Love the colors! What a nice thing for you to make quilts for hospice.

Love them both but I really love the second one. Do you mind sharing the pattern? I think that one needs to be on my "To Do List".

laceybritt and Tessa,
This is the left over end pieces from the Summer In the Park quilts that I did, one for my DSD and one for my DD. Both of the girls wanted the same or similar colors, so the left overs worked well together. If you Google for Summer in the Park, you'll see that it is tube quilting, but there are left over ends, which I used in the second quilt. (There are a few pieces in the first quilt as well.) I suppose you could make the left overs by cutting the squares that you get for the SITP quilt in half. Anyway, there isn't officially any pattern. I just made it up after seeing the pieces that were left over. I actually like it better than the original Summer In The Park quilt - at least for a lap size quilt. It just may be too busy for a queen sized quilt.

Your quilts are very pretty! Love the pattern, too. I don't think I've ever seen the 1st one before.

Thank you so much for sharing!!! I have just started a Summer in the Park quilt, and I love the idea of using the
left overs in a charity quilt. You did a wonderful job! God bless you!

What pattern did you use on the first?

The first quilt, I just made it up with left over pieces from the Summer in the Park and added some color and white triangles so I could get it to size. Then I appliqued the little diamonds in the center of the white area, it just looked like it needed something. There is no pattern.
