Absolutely stunning, Izzy! I just love it! I know what you mean about the finished quilt lelt-down. You're so happy to be done with it, but now it's over! However, I have no doubt that you will find another gorgeous project in no time at all!

Wow!!!!! Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, WE had the BEST nights sleep last night :D :D :D

No kidding, the nights are just getting cooler, so my timing getting it finished was just right, it was not to hot or too heavy....John is a restless sleeper and I usually get disturbed by feeling a draught on my back as he toss's and turns the covers but not last night, the quilt stayed put.....wish I had done it quicker now!!

I might not get as much sewing done now (I have been seeing the twilight hours alot this last few months and used to get up and sew if I couldn't sleep) as I think I will be sleeping more soundly, which is a good thing really   :D

Izy, that is just fabulous! But I knew all along it would be, ever since you showed us the first pics of it. Kudos to you for learning all the different techniques to finish it like you wanted. I know what you mean about being kinda sad about it being finished..but now you can cuddle in that old friend anytime you want. I do love it...you are overflowing with talent!!

Your sampler quilt is breath taking. Hope you had a great first dream sleeping under it. Love the colors and fabrics. Another UFO done and off the shelf. Good for you!
