I don't remember you showing me this quilt. I will say the colors are not my favorite but that doesn't make it ugly! Maybe just not a favorite!

Although I don't find it ugly, I understand what your saying. It is very dark, without much contrast. No visual interest. The pattern is nice. The fabric, I imagine, was very beautiful. I am glad you where able to learn lessons from making this as this is how we grow as a quilter. I have more than one that I feel this same way about...I, however, did not complete them...maybe I should....they would be great charity quilts to someone who would appreciate their warmth.

I don't think so. My husband never says anything about my quilts but for one that I made. He said that it had too be the worse looking quilt he has ever seen.
